GCC worked with the design team to seal the exterior windows of a Registered Historic Preserved Building that is also on the Florida Trust for Historic Preservation. Window perimeters in conjunction with perimeter Terra-Cotta panels that were replaced along with metal to glass joints and hand cut metal angles in same color and finish as window frames set in Tremco’s Spectrem 2 silicone sealant to seal small metal to metal joints. Additionally, preformed silicone sealant Tremco’s Simple Seal was used in window corners to seal splices. All sealant and preformed silicone were specially matched. Project was a finalist for the Sealant, Waterproofing & Restoration Institute “Trinity Award.”
