The Parking Garage Design/Build Project at Memorial Regional Hospital

General Caulking and Coatings Company, Inc. assisted with the design and execution of the complete waterproofing package for the Memorial Regional Hospital garage. This included multiple aspects of work, including waterproofing all below grade foundations of a triple cab elevator pit, 120 mils of fluid applied waterproofing with vehicular drainage matting beneath secondary toppings of garage levels two and three over occupied spaces, and installation of expansion joints in horizontal and vertical conditions. The installation of expansion joints included tying into two different parking garages and bridges. Silane sealer was applied at all levels of parking not receiving a vehicular traffic coating, and vehicular traffic coating was applied on entire upper parking deck and all exterior ramps. Air barrier was applied on all exterior stucco walls of buildings, caulking of precast double tee panel joints where waterproofing was installed, and firestopping was installed at head of wall joints.
